Grenade attack on polling station in Pulwama
A grenade was lobbed by unidentified persons at a polling booth in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir during the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections, acoording to reports.
Unknown persons on Monday hurled a grenade at a polling booth in Pulwama district of south Kashmir, officials said. There was no damage caused by the explosion. The device was hurled on the polling booth stationed inside a government girls’ middle school Rahmoo which exploded in the compound, they said. A police officer said that while a blast like sound was heard, the investigations are underway in this regard.
