SRINAGAR, 6 DEC: The core committee members of National Child Development Council (NCDC) have expressed concern over the safety of students in view of recent incidents at Kerala state.

During their recent meeting, the NCDC members said that students need to take precautionary measures before conducting the public programmes.

They said that, “before organising any public event, police as well as other concerned authorities should be informed by the students, with the motive to evade mishappenings.”

“Proper training should be given to students besides security cover, as safety measures are quite important for organising public events, so that students remain safe all the time,” NCDC members added.

Notably, National Child Development Council (NCDC) is an autonomous national child welfare organization, established to promote the welfare of women and children, besides ensuring education of children in India. https://ncdconline.org/ is the official website of NCDC.
