J&K Students Association greets Jamia Millia Fraternity on its 103rd Foundation Day

Srinagar: J&K Students Association here on sunday extended greetings to the entire Jamia fraternity on its 103rd Foundation Day. In a statement National convenor of Association Nasir Khuehami said that Jamia Millia Islamia stands as a beacon of hope, pride, and excellence, shaping the future of generations and contributing significantly to the nation’s progress.
He mentioned that Jamia Millia Islamia, not merely an institution but a movement, has always embraced the philosophy of action, striving for excellence and inclusivity. The university’s commitment to co-education and empowering women reflects its progressive ideals. Khuehami urged the alumni, students, and teachers of Jamia to vigorously engage in start-up ventures, addressing societal challenges and fostering innovation.
Khuehami emphasized that Jamia has continuously excelled in the last 5 years, achieving success after success and coming off with flying colors in achieving the latest educational aims and ideals set by the nation and the community.
Commending the efforts made by Professor Najma Akhtar, Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia, to bring in new ideas and innovations, Khuehami expressed hope that the idealism, vision, and syncretic values that went into the making of the Indian institution would be strengthened further to provide leadership to the nation. He highlighted her dedication and vision, which have propelled Jamia University to new heights, including the establishment of a medical college earlier this year, a testament to her unwavering commitment to education and healthcare.
