Anantnag MCCH doctors perform two major Laparoscopic surgeries

Anantnag: The Doctors here in MCCH Anantnag have achieved a rare feat, by performing two major Laparoscopic surgeries including the “Laproscopic Tubal reconsilation surgery” and “Laparoscopic surgical Management of Scar site Ectopic Surgery” on Wednesday.

These two laparoscopic surgeries have been conducted first time in MCCH Anantnag, while the surgeries were performed by Dr Syed Nawaz and his team, besides the anesthesia group consists of Dr Riyaz and his team.

Talking to Arising State, Dr Syed Nawaz Said that with the availability of Laparoscopic Surgery in MCCH hospital Anantnag, the patients from South Kashmir have no longer need to go to Jammu or Srinagar.

He said that, “Not only their time and energy is saved, but they are being operated free of cost under the PMABJAY-Sehat.”

“For the first time, we have managed to start it (laparoscopic treatment) here in MCCH hospital Anantnag,” Dr Nawaz said, adding that such procedures would be a regular process now at the hospital.

As per the official, “This was a rare procedure done laparoscically which was previously done by laparotomy and it can be termed as a big initiative for such kind of surgeries.”
