“Two LeT Militants Neutralized in Shopian Encounter; One Linked to Killing of Kashmiri Pandit”: ADGP Kashmir
In an operation carried out in South Kashmir’s Shopian district, two militants affiliated with the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist organization were neutralized, as reported by local authorities.
The two militants have been identified as Morifat Maqbool and Jazim Farooq, also known as Abrar. This successful mission was conducted through the collaborative efforts of security forces working closely with intelligence agencies.
Furthermore, the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) in Kashmir has confirmed that one of the militants, Abrar, was involved in the targeted killing of the late Sanjay Sharma, a Kashmiri Pandit.
