Tragic Altercation Over Land Dispute Claims Life in Bhaleesa, Doda District

Srinagar, September 30:  In a heartbreaking incident that unfolded in Bhaleesa, Doda district, a dispute over land ownership took a grim turn, resulting in the untimely death of Ishtiyaq Ahmad Wani, a dedicated teacher.

The unfortunate altercation began between Ishtiyaq and his younger brother, Imtiyaz Ahmed, who serves as a Special Police Officer (SPO) in the region.

According to official reports, the dispute flared up in the village of Sanwara, Bhaleesa, eventually escalating into a fatal confrontation. Tragically, during the course of the altercation, Imtiyaz Ahmed allegedly launched a fatal attack on his elder brother, Ishtiyaq, resulting in his immediate and tragic demise.
