‘Shocked’, PDP spokesman Dr Harbakash Singh expresses grief over killing of Police, Army officers

Pulwama: The PDP spokesman and DDC member Tral on Wednesday expressed grief over the killing of Army’s Colonel, Major, and DySP of Jammu & Kashmir during the operation at Kokernag Anantnag.

In a statement, Dr Singh said that, It’s shocking to hear the news about the killing of Army Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Aashish Dhonchak, and DySP Humayun Bhat, son of Retired IGP, Ghulam Hassan Bhat of Tral who laid their lives for the country.

Dr Harbakash Singh expressed his deepest condolences and sympathies with the Bhat family of Tral.

Earlier, the army colonel, a Major and the Deputy Superintendent of Police were killed during an encounter with militants in Gadole area of Kokernag in South Kashmir’s Anantnag.
