Rapid Response: Police Apprehends Molester in Srinagar, Seizes Vehicle

Srinagar, 9 Aug  :A swift  action by the Srinagar Police led to the arrest of a molester in the summer capital district. The individual, identified as Uzair Hameed Mir, attempted to molest a girl after offering her a lift. When the victim resisted, he callously threw her from the car.

The police acted promptly, apprehending the molester and seizing the vehicle involved in the incident. An FIR has been lodged under stringent sections at the Rainawari Police Station.

Srinagar Police tweeted, “One Molester namely Uzair Hameed Mir S/o Abdul Hameed Mir R/o Daulatabad Khanyar arrested for molesting & injuring a girl. He gave a lift to the victim and tried to molest & When the girl resisted he threw her from the car. FIR in stringent sections registered in Rainawari PS. The car was also seized”. The official also added that in this regard an FIR is registered in Rainawari Police Station.
