Police accords warm send-off to retiring officer on his superannuation in Shopian

July 04: Police have organised a farewell function to accord warm send off to the officer who superannuated from his active services in Shopian.On attaining the age of superannuation SI Abdul Hameed was given a warm send off by all ranks of Police. On his retirement, a farewell party was organized by the Police at Recreational Hall DPL Shopian.

Speaking on the occasion, DySP DAR DPL Shopian shri Imtiyaz Ahmad-JKPS threw light on the tenure of outgoing officer and commended his supervisory skills, professionalism, human nature and decision making during toughest situations. He appreciated the work and dedication of the officer towards his duties. He extended good wishes and healthy post-retirement life to him.

In his farewell address, the outgoing officer shared his experience as remaining posted as Reader investigating officer, DO keegam, PA to various dignitaries and extended his gratitude to all ranks of District Police Shopian for their cooperation.On the occasion, DySP Hqrs Shopian & lines officer along with other officials were also present. Later on, the outgoing officer was presented a memento, and gift as a token of love and respect for his exceptional services.
