Encounter breaks out near LoC in Kupwara: Police

Srinagar, June 16 : Encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Jumagund area near the Line of Control in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.

Kashmir zone police, in a Tweet said that following inputs of Kupwara police encounter started between militants and security forces in Jumagund area.

Police said that further details will be shared accordingly.

“An #encounter has started between #terrorists and joint parties of Army & Police on a specific input of Kupwara Police in Jumagund area of LoC of #Kupwara district. Further details shall follow,” police tweeted.
