GR Beigh Memorial Trust conducts anti-drug awareness programmes

Srinagar: A well-known NGO based in Kashmir valley titled GR Beigh Memorial Trust started conducting anti-drug awareness programmes across the Jammu & Kashmir UT.
The initiative was initially taken on the directions of Chairman GR Beigh Memorial Trust, Ishtiyaq Beigh, following which the NGO members started distributing anti-drug posters in various districts and townships of Jammu & Kashmir.
The members also conducted the awareness programmes in education institutions, wherein the students took placards in their hands, to make people aware about the consequences of drug abuse.
As per the Chairman, awareness programmes under Nasha Muqt Abhiyan initiative of NGO were recently held in Srinagar, Tral, Pulwama, Kakapora, Kashmir University, SKIMS, Thanamandi, Ganderbal, and other places.
He said that many more programmes are scheduled at many other places of Jammu and Kashmir in upcoming days.
