Govt college for women Pulwama holds seminar on India and the changing reality of globalised world

Pulwama: In connection with celebration of India’s Presidency in G20, the Govt Degree College for Women in Pulwama district of South Kashmir on Monday organised a national seminar on India and the changing reality of globalised world.

The seminar was attended by a large number of college students, staff members, & Principals of several Govt Degree Colleges of South Kashmir.

On the occasion, former Director of colleges, Prof. Yaseen Ahmad Shah was the chief guest, while Dr. Athar Ud Din was the keynote speaker of the seminar.

During the seminar, the speakers threw light on the different aspects of Climate change, Women empowerment, Digital empowerment besides changing reality of globalised world & India’s G20 Presidency.

Principal of the college, Dr. Yasmeen Farooq Khan, while talking to media has said that college through such programmes is trying to empower the students, so that their learning ability is boosted.

Notably, the introductory remarks were presented by Rayees Ahmad Dar (Organising Secretary), while the programme was moderated by Ms. Iram Shafi Allaie (Assistant Professor), and the vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Mairaj-Ud-Din Shah.

Dr. Tariq Ahmad Dar (dept of Botany), who is a member IQAC and organising committe was also present on the occasion.
