Omar Abdullah joins ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra in Banihal
Srinagar, Jan 27 : Former chief minister and National Conference vice-president, Omar Abdullah on Friday joined the ongoing Rahul Gandhi led Bharat Jodo Yatra in Banihal area of Ramban district.
A senior politician who is part of the ongoing Yatra said that Omar Abdullah has also joined the Yatra in Banihal.
Both Gandhi and Abdullah were seen wearing white t-shirts as the Yatra resumed from Banihal today morning towards Kashmir under heavy security cover.
Several other senior leaders of the Congress and other parties will also join the Yatra in Qazigund, which is the gateway of the Kashmir valley.
