Arrangements for 3rd Khelo India Winter Games reviewed at Gulmarg

1700 athletes participate in the event

Gulmarg, Jan 23 : Chief Executive Officer Gulmarg Development Authority Ghulam Jeelani Zargar and Sub Divisional Magistrate Gulmarg Syed Altaf Hussain Musvi today chaired a meeting of concerned officers to take stock of various arrangements for holding winter games under 3rd edition of Khelo India initiative at Gulmarg.

CEO GDA took a comprehensive review of various aspects pertaining to the event wherein he directed various authorities for adopting a coordinated approach for making the event a grand successful.

He emphasized making all necessary arrangements including health necessities, accommodation, lodging and other facilities, well in advance and in a hassle free manner.

The meeting held a threadbare discussion on the facilities, accommodation, parkings, heath facilities, transportation and other logistic arrangements for the upcoming event.

About 1700 athletes and 350 VIPs and VVIPs are scheduled to attend the event at Gulmarg in February.

All the sub-divisional level officers were present in the meeting
