Police constable dupes man on fake appointment order in Anantnag, Arrested

Police Station Achabal have recieved a Complaint on 5-01-23 from Tasaduq Ahmad Sheikh S/o Gh Mohd Sheikh R/o Shehlipora Achabal,that one person namely Umar Farooq S/o Late Farooq Ahmad Ganie R/o Tailwani Achabal,who is working as constable in J and K Police Department and is posted in IRP 6Th Bn ,has cheated him on the pretext of providing him a Job of follower in J and K Police and has extorted 20,000 ₹ from him. The accused person has provided him a fake appointment order. Accordingly
FIR U/S 420,468,120-B IPC was registered in Police Station Achabal and the accused person was arrested. The investigation of the case is in process.
General Public is requested not to fall prey to such Tricks and bring these Incidents to the notice of Police.
