Anantnag shawl seller goes missing in Uttar Pradesh, Family lodges missing report in police station Ashmuqam

Anantnag: A 21-year-old Anantnag youth has gone missing from Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, where he was selling shawls.
Yasir Ahmad Shah, 21, a resident of Hardukitchroo Aishmuqam area in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, went to Lucknow in November 2022 to sell shawls and other warm clothes.
Talking to Arising state his father Abdul Hameed shah said that a shawl seller namely Ali Mohd who hails from Grend Ashmuqam visited our home in mid of November 2022 and asked him to send his son with him to Lucknow for business, since his son was good at Tally and could help him with his skill.
”I received a call from Ali Mohd on 28 December, in the morning, saying that my son was not well, and I needed to take him back home. However, I suggested him to get a ticket and send him back”, but he responded, ‘We can’t send him like this,’ to which I agreed.
‘Later that same day, in the evening, I again received a call from Ali Mohd stating that my son was missing. I could not understand how he disappeared on the same day’,said Hamid.
In the meantime, the family has requested help from the District Administration Anantnag and the police in tracking down their son.The family has also lodged a missing report at police station Ashmuqam.
