Two persons die while cleaning underground pump in Srinagar

Srinagar, Dec, 27 : Two persons died while cleaning an underground well Lasjan area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Tuesday.

Official sources said that the incident took place on Tuesday afternoon when the duo, Zakir from Poonch and Talib from Gool were cleaning the well and fell unconscious.

They said that duo fell unconscious inside and with the help of some locals, they were taken out.

He said that both were shifted to SMHS Srinagar where doctors declared them brought dead.

Meanwhile, Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
