Budgam Police seized 03 Tippers and arrested 03 persons for illegal excavation and transportation of minerals

Budgam, 5th November 2022: Today during Naka checking at Sholipora Budgam, the Police party of Police Station Budgam seized 03 Tippers and arrested 03 persons who were found illegally excavating and transporting soil at Sholipora Budgam.The arrested persons have been identified as:-
01 Mansoor Ahmed Mir S/O Ghulam Mohammad Mir R/o Jewalapora
02 Riyaz Ahmed Bhat S/O Ghulam Qadir Bhat R/o Heewudur
03 Murtaza Gul S/O Gh Mohammad Bhat R/O Hardiwail

Case FIR Number 379/2022 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Budgam and investigation taken up.

Persons found indulging in illegal mining activities shall be dealt with as per law. Community members are requested to share information regarding the crimes in their neighbourhood with their concerned police units.
