One person dead after avalanche struck Doda in Jammu and Kashmir
One person was killed and 2 injured when an avalanche hit a village in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
Reports said three employees of PHE department were buried under the debris of the avalanche at Kote Bhanecha area, about 12 KM, from Gandoh Sub Division, when they were working to restore water supply line feeding Azad Mohalla Soti.
The deceased was identified as Farooq Ahmed son of Ahamdulla resident of Changa Bala, Bhallesa. The injured were identified as Lal Singh and Mohd Aslam — both residents of Changa Bala, Bhallesa.
