School teacher found dead in Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir

A government school teacher was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Mendhar area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

The body of Gulzar Ahmad, son of Khan Muhammad of Mankote was found on the banks of a river in Balnoi area of the district, reported a local news agency.

The deceased was posted at Government High School Sagra. “His body has been received under mysterious conditions and as such a case under 174 CrPc has been initiated in this regard,” the report quoted SDPO Mendhar Neeraj Padyar as having said.
