Pahalgam accident update: 6 ITBP personnel dead, 28 injured
Srinagar, Aug 16 : At least six Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel were killed while 28 were injured after their bus skidded off the road and rolled down into a gorge in Chandanwari area of Pahalgam.
Kashmir Police spokesperson in a tweet said, “In a road #accident near Chandanwari Pahalgam in #Anantnag district, 6 ITBP personnel got #martyred while as several others got injured, who are being #airlifted to Army hospital, Srinagar for treatment. Further details shall follow.”

Authorities launched a rescue operation immediately to shift the injured personnel to hospital.
While 28 injured personnel have been shifted to GMC Anantnag and SMHS Srinagar as per sources.
