Jammu & Kashmir pensioners express anguish over non payment of pension

Srinagar ,01 August : JK govt pensioners have expressed anguish over non payment of pension for the month of July which otherwise was to be paid on 28th July.
A delegation of pensioners while speaking to Arising state said that due to non payment of pension they are facing hardships . They said that most of the pensioners are entirely dependent on pension particularly when they they are facing health issues and have to buy medicines .They further alleged that JK bank does not pay heed to their problems while they stand in long queues outside bank branches . They urged Govt to release their pension timely so that they don’t face hardships in future.
Meanwhile , a few officials of JK Bank on the basis of anonymity said that govt has not released payments yet and bank has no role in it .
