Unauthorised absence from duty: Incharge Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Lalpora Tral suspended

Tral, 14 July: Authorities in Tral area of Pulwama district on Thursday suspended a health official for remaining absent from the duties, sources said.

They said that, On the directions of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Naib Tehsildar Tral led team inspected PHC Lalpora to check the presence of employees and working of the said PHC.

As per sources, the Incharge Head Dr. Showket was found unauthorisely absent from duty, following which the ADC spoke over to BMO Tral to verify the fact of absence of Dr Showket, while BMO Tral shown unawareness about the absence.

“Under such circumstances,
Dr Showket Incharge Head PHC LALPORA is put under SUSPENSION with immediate effect, and Tehsildar Tral is appointed as Inquiry Officer. Tehsildar Tral shall file report within three days,” an official in the ADC office said.
