Man Shot Dead By unidentified gunmen in J&K’s Pulwama

Pulwama: A 25-year old man was shot dead by unknown gunmen  outside his house at  Pinglana village in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as Ashiq Ahmad Nayek S/O Mohd Yousuf R/O Pinglina. Sources said that Ashiq recently got recruited in Army’s JAKLI unit and was posted in Srinagar. He was earlier an SPO. Police sources said that at around 2:30 pm ,unidentified gunmen barged into his house and opened fire at him. He died of the fatal wounds. A joint team of Army and SOG has launched a cordon and search operation in the area to nab the assailants.
