CEO Anantnag writes SHO Verinag to lodge FIR against Alsarwat School Anantnag, following video clip that went viral in which students are seen taking tobacco

Anantnag: Following the video clip that went  viral on social media few days back ,in which students of Alsarwat convent school Krangsoo Anantnag were seen consuming tobacco in public park at verinag, Chief education officer  Anantnag today communicated  SHO Verinag to Lodge FIR against the school.

These school students had gone for picnic to verinag Anantnag on 15. 06 2022.

Arising state received a copy of order in which the chief education officer Anantnag has asked SHO Verinag to lodge FIR against the school.

“It is to intimate that a video clip of the students who were taken to picnic by the above school to Verinag on 15.06.2022 went viral on social media wherein it has been shown that some students were taking tobacco etc. in the open park which is gross violation of Education Policy/ norms.

In this connection, you are requested to lodge an FIR against the said school at an earliest and share the investigation report with this office, reads the order.”
