2 militants killed in Sopore encounter, searches on

Srinagar, June 21:  2 militants have been killed in an encounter in Sopore area of Baramulla district on Tuesday morning, while searches were going on, police said here.

An official told Arising state  that encounter broke out in Tulibal area of Sopore in the wee hours today.

He said that in the ensuing encounter two militants have been killed, while arms and ammunition have also been recovered.

The official said that searches were going on and further details will be shared accordingly.
