Unattended Bag turns out- garbage bag ,triggers panic at Rawalpora

Srinagar, June 12 : An unattended bag  triggered panic at Rawalpora area of the central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Sunday morning ,police said . The bag was found  at Rawalpora on Sunday morning, prompting authorities to suspend traffic on the thoroughfare.

Soon police and CRPF rushed to the spot and subsequently  Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS)was called in to check the bag but nothing  was found ,a senior police officer told Arising State. The bag turned out to be a  trash bag ,a police officer said.

Earlier ,as a precautionary measure, the traffic through the area was  suspended while BDS was called in . Nearby shops were closed .
