Encounter breaks out in South Kashmir

An encounter broke between security forces and millitants at Pandoshan area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Monday. As per reports a joint team of police ,Army and CRPF launched a CASO  based on specific information about the presence of millitants in the area.However, as the forces approached the spot millitants fired upon them triggering in an encounter . Two to three millitants are trapped in the area,according to sources.

Meanwhile ,JKP on its twitter handle wrote #Encounter has started at Pandoshan area of #Shopian. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow.
