Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth Launches L-SET Scholarship in Kashmir
Srinagar: Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth launched the Kashmir Chapter of the L-SET(2022-23), which is a scholarship scheme of crores for Corona warriors, children of ex-servicemen and meritorious students.
As per the official, Students will have to appear for the Lingaya’s Scholarship Entrance Test (LSET), in which up to 100% waiver will be offered on the tuition fee.
“On a very nominal payment, a student can avail two chances to attempt the online exam,” official said.
In this connection, a grand event was organized by the Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth in Kashmir on Sunday, where Mr Sheikh Zulfkar Azad SSP Security (Kashmir), graced the occasion as a chief guest, while Dr. Hilal, the Deputy Superintendent of Police and Mr Muzzamil, DSP (Vigilance) graced the occasion as the Guests of Honour of the event.
In their speech the Guests lauded the efforts of the Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth and said that it will prove a blessing for the deserving students.
Dr Picheshwar Gadde, Chancellor of the Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth, in his keynote address, offered a bountiful gift of scholarships to the corona warriors, children of ex-servicemen and meritorious students of Jammu & Kashmir along with Harayana and Delhi-NCR.
The Pro Vice Chancellor of Lingayas Vidyapeeth, Prof. (Dr.) Jaskiran Kaur, said in her Keynote address, that the objective of launching this scholarship is to identify the talent of deserving students and encourage them to pursue professional and technical courses.
