Large quantity of illicit timber seized in Anantnag village

Anantnag: Forest Protection Force Anantnag Thursday morning seized illicit timber in Utterso Dabruna falling under Anantnag forest division.

A senior official while talking to the Arising state said that after receiving specific inputs of illicit timber dumping by a household in Dabruna Anantnag village, a party of Forest Protection Force raided the spot leading to seizure of 6 logs of Kail measuring 63 Feet in Anantnag Block. The officer termed the seizure “a big achievement, he said.

However, the official has confirmed the seizure of the illicit timber from the specified site. “The team deserves due appreciation for the haul”, the officer said.
