Encounter breaks out in Shopian village

Srinagar, Mar 31 : An encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Turkwangan area of Shopian district on Thursdsy late evening, police said here.

An official said that the encounter broke out in Turkwangan village this evening, following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

He said that police and security forces were on job, while further details will be shared accordingly.
