Leopard killed by Army in south Kashmir’s Shopian

A leopard was killed in Pehlipora village of south kashmir’s Shopian district,when a patrolling party of 44 RR opened fire on it.

A police official said that the leopard was killed by the army personnel, when it tried to attack them in Pehlipora village of the Shopian district.

The leopard had received bullets all over the body that resulted in the instant death of the animal,the official said.

Meanwhile ,a team of wild life department rushed to the spot and took the carcass in their custody.
