Traders call for valley wide shutdown tomorrow against Jama’at ban, Article 35-A assault

Traders body  has called for a valley wide shutdown /Kashmir Bandh tomorrow on Tuesday, against the ban on Jama’at-e-Islami and the legal challenge to Article 35A.

The call for the strike was issued by various trade bodies of the Valley on Monday. Trade bodies have called for Kashmir bandh tomorrow against the ban on Jama’at-e-Islami and the legal challenge to Article 35A.

Chairman Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation Yasin Khan while talking to reporters at a presser in Srinagar today called for the strike. Khan was addressing a joint press conference of KEA,FCIK ,TRANSPORT, KTMF in a local hotel here.

The government of India Thursday banned Jamaat-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir for five years, alleging that it was “in close touch with militant outfits” and expected to “escalate secessionist movement” in the state.
