Amira Kadal Attack: DGP says police have accessed solid clues, few suspects also detained
Jammu, Mar 08 : Director General Jammu and Kashmir Police, Dilbag Singh on Tuesday said that police have accessed some solid clues and some suspects have been also been detained regarding Amira Kadal grenade attack.
Talking to media persons in Jammu, DGP said that the module behind Amira Kadal grenade attack will soon be busted.
He also said that the enemies of peace are hatching conspiracy from across the border, causing incidents like Amira Kadal.
“Last year, 85 modules were busted involved in carrying attacks on civilians, and this year around half a dozen modules have been busted that were involved in carrying attacks on civilians.”
On being asked about spotting of drones in Jammu areas, DGP said teams headed by ADGP Jammu were keeping a regular surveillance to defeat the conspiracy hatched from across. “Police along with other agencies are investigating the matter,” he added. (KNS)
