AS Impact : Staff Members ,Headmaster put under suspension after School recorded 0% result in Matric standard

Just after the declaration of the results of class 10 th Annual Regular Examination, November 2021,the staff members of High School Wantrag Zone Mattan who were associated with the academics of secondary classes including Headmaster have been placed under suspension.

The move came after Arising State carried a story about the school registering zero pass percentage in 10th standard results for 2nd consecutive year.

”The reasons for poor results of the school are being ascertained and the remedial measures shall be initiated in order to improve the academic performance of the school. Further, one more school of the district viz. High School Poru Kalnag has also recorded zero percent result in the said examination and similar action has been initiated against the staff of the school vide this office”,reads an order issued by Chief Education Officer, Anantnag, whose copy lies with Arising State.
