Militant killed in ongoing encounter in Shopian village: Police

Srinagar, Feb 02 : An unidentified militants has been killed in an encounter that broke out between militants and security forces in Shopian district on Wednesday afternoon, police said here.

An official said that the encounter broke out in Nadigam village of the district this afternoon.

He said that in the ensuing encounter, one unidentified militant has been killed, while the operation was going on.

The official said that further details will be shared accordingly.
