One among two militants killed in Shopian was involved in killing of labourer in Pulwama: IGP Kashmir
Srinagar, Oct 20 : The Inspector General of Police Kashmir zone, Vijay Kumar on Wednesday said that one of the killed militants in Shopian encounter was involved in the killing of poor labourer at Litter area of Pulwama.
The IGP said that the slain has been identified as Adil Ahmad Wani and he was active since July 2020.
The IGP also said that so for, 15 militants have been killed in two weeks in the Kashmir valley, following recent civilian killings.
Earlier, the police said that two militants have been killed in Shopian encounter that broke out in Dragad village in the early today morning, while search operation was going on. (KNS)
