Waris Wani, Tral’s emerging comedian making waves on internet

Tral, 10 October: Waris Wani, a young artist, from Tral area of Southern Kashmir, has been entertaining valley people for many years, through social media, with his acting skills.
Wani is known for his creative art that he displays on his you tube channel created few years ago . His funny jokes and acting skills have not only made him popular but helped in creating a huge fan following on social media.
Waris Wani, a comedian from Pinglish village of Tral town is a B-tech passout from Haryana based University, who has lacs of followers on Facebook, Youtube and Instagram .
While talking to Arising State, Waris said that he started to work as comedian a few years back, and had a created a channel titled as ‘Funny Kashmir’ on social media sites particularly on Youtube and Facebook.
He said that the reason for creating his own channel was to bring smile on the face of gloomy people .
Waris became overnight sensation with his funny videos . His videos are widely liked ,shared and appreciated by netizens.
Waris told Arising State that he has currently 1 lac 18 thousand followers on Youtube, more than two lac followers on Facebook, and more than 80 thousand on Instagram.
He said that he has been trying to create awareness among people, through his videos, and has been focusing on social evils like Drugs & Dowry, which need to be eradicated from the society.
Waris also creates content related to education, culture and communal harmony .
Besides stand up comedy, Waris and his team members, namely Tanveer Ahmad, Rahil Shah, Arbaaz Shah, have been making Kashmiri serials as well.
Waris is busy shooting these days for his upcoming song on “Communal Harmony”, which will be released shortly according to Waris .The song promotes age old communal harmony and brotherhood among Kashmiris ,informed Waris.
