Devender Rana, Salathia join BJP in New Delhi
Srinagar, Oct 11 : Former Jammu and Kashmir National Conference leaders Devender Singh Rana and Surjit Singh Salathia on Monday joined the BJP in the presence of Union Ministers Hardeep Singh Puri, Dharmendra Pradhan, and Dr Jitendra Singh in New Delhi.
Reports said that both the leaders had left for New Delhi to join the BJP at the party headquarters in the presence of Union Ministers and BJP leaders.
Notably, both the leaders had resigned from the basic membership of the National Conference yesterday.
Rana, who was a prominent face of NC in the Jammu region and once considered a close confidante of former chief minister and NC vice-president Omar Abdullah, resigned from the party yesterday to join BJP.
