Large scale deaths during Covid 2nd wave biggest failure of BJP govt: Ravinder Sharma

Sunderbani:  JK Congress  chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma Ex MLC has asked the government to treat all those as corona victims who died due to basic cause of covid , although came out negative in the last test before death. Sharma while interacting with  the family members and relatives of the victims of covid during the ongoing wave, said that the biggest failure of the Modi government is the mishandling of the second wave of covid causing enormous loss of precious lives and sufferings to large participation.  Sharma visited the number of families of the victims in Sunderbani area during past two days, said that the people are highly critical of the lack of adequate health facilities and preparedness for the second wave despite prior anticipations.Senior JKPCC leader said that several persons lost their lives due to the corona as basic cause but were declared negative before the death and treated and cremated as nom covid. This will deprive them of the compassionate measures announced by the LG Manoj Sinha ji including financial assistance. The government should immediately clarify the position and extend all such benefits of the compassionate measures and financial aid announced for the victims ‘families.Ravinder Sharma appealed to the government to make all necessary arrangements and health facilities for the anticipated third wave.Senior Congress leader also criticised the shifting of the only physician from sub district hospital Sunderbani to covid hospital at Jammu depriving a large population of the facilities of a physician.He demanded immediate posting of a physician in Sunderbani immediately.
