3 civilians, 2 Cops killed in Sopore Militant Attack: Official
Three civilians and two policemen were killed in a suspected militants attack on a security forces’ party in Arampora of Sopore town of north Kashmir, officials said.
A police official said militants attacked joint team of Police and CRPF at a Naka in Arampora area in the town in which two civilians were killed.
BMO Sopore Dr Zulfikar told KNS that five persons who were brought to SDH Sopore succumbed to injuries and two of them are policemen.
A police official said that area has been cordoned off and a hunt has been launched to nab the attackers.
