Sopore fire tragedy: DIG North appeals people to donate generously to help victims

 Srinagar: Soon after the fire incident at Sopore Baramulla, Deputy Inspector General North Kashmir Sujit Kumar on Friday appealed people to donate generously to help the victims. We all have to jointly make efforts to help them and rehabilitate them, he said.While appreciating the role played  by the local media he urged them to continue their positive role in their rehabilitation, he said. He added that there is need to take some concrete steps for the welfare of the victims.He while quoting a verse from holy Quran said that some friends have already helped the victims but there is need to do more.He said that one joint account must be shared so that donation can be shared among victims.Pertinently, a massive blaze left around 30 families homeless in Sopore last night.
