Slain BJP leader Rakesh Pandita went to Tral without PSOs: Police

‘He was provided 2 PSOs, safe hotel accommodation in Sgr’

Srinagar, June 2: Soon after being shot dead by the unknown gunmen, Jammu and Kashmir police Wednesday stated that the slain BJP leader and Municipal Committee Tral Chairman Rakesh Pandita was provided two PSOs and a secured hotel accommodation in Srinagar but he went to Tral without PSOs.

As per news agency, police tweeted that: “Militants shot dead one councillor namely Rakesh Pandita in #Tral. Despite provided 02 PSOs & secured hotel accommodation in Srinagar, the said councillor went to Tral without PSOs. Area cordoned off & search is going on.”
