J&KLt Governor’s greetings on the eve of Buddha Purnima

Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha has greeted the people of Jammu & Kashmir on the eve of the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Buddha.

In a message, the Lt Governor said that Mahatma Buddha’s life and message of compassion, truth, brotherhood, peace and welfare of the downtrodden continues to guide us on the path of virtuous living.

Mahatma Buddha showed humanity the path of love, peace and non-violence. Humanity is facing an unprecedented health crisis. On this auspicious festival of Buddha Purnima, I pray for the well-being of every citizen. Let us all work for the welfare of the underprivileged. Together, we shall overcome and take J&K to greater heights, observed the Lt Governor.
