DDC conducts inspection of Pulwama town

Takes stock of implementation of COVID-19 guidelines

PULWAMA, APRIL 26: The District Development Commissioner Pulwama today conducted an inspection of Pulwama town to take stock of implementation of various COVID-19 related advisories and guidelines which includes use of face masks, Social distancing, rotational opening of business establishments.

During inspection, DDC checked the adherence of covid-19 guidelines by shopkeepers, transporters and commuters and on the occasion several vehicles were found violating covid-19 guidelines and were fined on spot.

He advised concerned to strictly follow the guidelines issued by administration to contain the Covid 19 infection in the district.

He appealed people to follow strictly all the guidelines and precautions in view of the pandemic and any violation shall invite strict action.

He also directed the Executive Officer, Municipal Committee for monitoring illegal encroachment of roads and footpaths by the street vendors so that the common public should not have to face inconvenience on this behalf .

The DDC was accompanied by Tehsildar, SHO and other Officers.
