Body of Missing Bandipora youth recovered from Wular Lake

The body of a Missing youth of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district was recovered from Wular Lake late Saturday night.

A Police official While talking to Kashmir News Service Said that the body of the deceased was recovered after locals spotted the body late last night and accordingly informed police from Warpora village of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The deceased, identified as Rounak Hassan aged 19 years son of Ghulam Hassan, a resident of Ward No. 3 of the Plan area of Bandipora, who was missing since March 29 morning of this year.

Adds that the deceased was identified by family members through his clothes as the body was semi-decomposed.

Meanwhile, the body will be handed over to the family for last rites after autopsy and other medico-legal formalities, officials said
