Elder son of Sitaram Yechury succumbs to Covid, Taragami expresses condolence

CPI(M) general secretary (polit Berue member) Sitaram Yechury on Thursday said his son Ashish died of COVID-19 today morning.

“It is with great sadness that I have to inform that I lost my elder son, Ashish Yechury to COVID-19 this morning. I want to thank all those who gave us hope and who treated him – doctors, nurses, frontline health workers,” CPIM leader wrote on his twitter account .

J&K CPIM senior leader Muhammad Yousuf Taragami called the death of Ashish Yechury tragic, and extended his deepest condolence.
Taragami wrote, “Very sad and Tragic.Deepest condolences to you and your family. Stay strong comrade.”
