Chandanwardi Pahalgam road irks tourists

Anantnag,21 April: Tourists thronging from nook and corner of the country to get a glimpse of mesmerizing Pahalgam have to face disappointment while traveling from Pahalgam to Chandanwardi road here in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
The road which connects the Amarnath Cave connecting Kashmir’s famed tourist resort Pahalgam is extremely in dilapidated condition inconveniencing hundreds of tourists travelling on this road. This problem manifolds during the rainy season, thus making it road accident-prone.
”Pahalgam Chandanwardi road is giving tough time to tourists ”, said a tourist while speaking with Arising state.
Added that Chandanwadi place is one of the most beautiful spots in Kashmir, ‘we will never forget this place as we have seen nature at its best here,’ tourists said that the road from Pahalgam to Chandanwardi is in very bad condition and the government should repair this road as soon as possible. He said that the road is the main route of Amarnath Cave and the journey of Amarnath Yatra is about to begin.
The tourists while praising the beauty of Chandanwadi, Pahalgam said that each km of the journey is notable as one forgets the other destinations on the globe after reaching Chandanwardi.
