Khalsa Premier League begins in South Kashmir

Pulwama,19,April: A cricket tournament titled ,Khalsa Premier League-Tral has been started in the Tcharligund area of South Kashmir’s Awantipora on Monday.
On this occasion, renowned cricketer and J&K team captain, Parvez Rasool was the chief guest, who inaugurated this league in presence of organisers of the tournament.
The tournament is organised by “Shaheed Jasjeet XI Tral” , 16 teams from different parts of the Kashmir valley will be participating in the tournament.
On Monday, the first match was played between Singh Warrior Baramulla and SCC Palpora team.
Baramulla scored 171 runs in 20 overs. While chasing the target Palpora remained 45 runs short from the target and lost the match.
Randeep Singh was declared man of the match, as he made 45 runs and took 2 wickets, while Gurpreet Singh was declared gamer changer of the match.
Besides Parvez Rasool, KAS officer Amandeep Singh and Cricketer Zahid Naik were also present as special guests.
