Anantnag Police arrested two drug peddlers, Contraband recovered

Anantnag: April 19 : District Police Anantnag continuing its unwavering efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from society, SHO Police station Anantnag along with DO Busstand laid a Naka at Sarnal area of Anantnag, and apprehended two peddlers namely Aqib Ahmad Bhat S/O Gul Mohd Bhat Resident of Lone pora Mattan and Mustafa Wani @(Beta Don) S/O Gh Nabi Wani Resident of Sarnal Bla and 35 Codeine Phosphate bottles were recovered from their possession.
In this regard Case FIR No. 98/2021 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Anantnag and investigation taken up.
This is in continuation to the efforts of Anantnag Police to fight against the menace of Drug Abuse and Drug Peddling.
